  • Voluntary Submissions: If you choose to publish or showcase a video, the media is saved and may be made publicly visible on Glims.io.

b. What We Do Not Collect by Default

  • Media Files: All uploaded images, videos, and edits are processed in your browser only and are not stored or transmitted unless you explicitly choose to showcase them.

c. Automatically Collected

  • Basic analytics (e.g., device type, browser, usage patterns) may be collected via cookies or third-party tools to improve the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Operate and improve Glims.io
  • Provide support
  • Deliver opt-in features (e.g., saving/showcasing projects)
  • Monitor usage and performance

We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or third parties unrelated to providing the Service.

3. Cookies and Analytics

4. Data Retention

  • We do not retain user-uploaded media unless you explicitly opt in to publish it. Account and analytics data are retained as necessary for performance, legal, or support reasons.
  • We store only the user authentication credentials explicitly provided by the user, such as email ID, username, and password.
  • All media assets—including audio, video, and images—are fully processed within the user's browser itself. This also applies to the Glims mobile and desktop apps.
  • Template images used within Glims fall under the Lummi.ai license, which permits usage across most contexts, except reselling the images directly. Please refer to the linked license for more details.
  • The Community (Showcase) and similar features (such as public profiles) will store user-generated media or content only when the user explicitly chooses to share it with Glims. Only content explicitly shared by the user as publicly visible will be stored on our platform.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access or deletion of your account data
  • Opt out of showcasing or public visibility

6. Security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your data. However, as no system is completely secure, we encourage responsible usage and logout when using shared devices.

7. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If discovered, such data will be promptly deleted.
